Using modern detector technology based on Indium-Gallium-Arsenide (InGaAs), Indium-Antimonide (InSb) and Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) these cameras allow a high thermal resolution. Adjustable integration times and subframe modi (allowing higher image rates) make them an efficient instrument for many applications. All Equus cameras are equipped with the common Camera Link interface. Optionally an additional Gigabit-Ethernet (GigE) interface can be integrated. The Equus cameras are also available as pro versions, which include a MIO interface for picture synchronous signal generation and optional integrated temperature sensors. These cameras are also prepared for the integration of further options: filter wheels and motor focus. With optional radiometric capability the cameras are suitable for quantitative temperature and radiance measurements.
